The authors describe clinical trials of several formulations in diabetic neuropathy, chemotherapy-related neuropathy, carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica-type pain and jaw joint pain, and describe safety and tolerability as high. They call for clinical studies of the newer related compounds in people and in animals.
