What the authors reported
No irritation or sensitisation from any product. Mild phototoxicity from the hemp seed oil product at 48 hours. The in vitro eye test placed the products with historically non-irritating products.
Limits of this study
Safety study only; no efficacy outcomes. All products from one manufacturer. Tested on normal skin, not diseased skin. Number of participants and PEA concentration not in the abstract.
