No association was found between hair levels and plasma or urine levels of endocannabinoids or N-acylethanolamines. Hair PEA, OEA and stearoylethanolamide were positively correlated with perceived stress in Study I.
Limits of this study
An observational study of biomarker levels; it did not give PEA. Sample sizes are not in the abstract. The authors declare no competing financial interests.
